The Friends of Lake Oswego Public Library

Mission:

To assist the Lake Oswego Public Library in fulfilling its mission through advocacy, funding, promotion, and volunteer support.

Objectives to accomplish mission:

• Provide direct additional financial assistance for needs not normally covered in the library’s operating budget.
• Advocate for the library at the local level for increased financial support by the library’s parent institution and the community.
• Encourage gifts.
• Raise money or help pass bond issues for building and other capital projects.
• Provide volunteer services to the library.
• Increase community awareness about the library.
